In the first half of 2026, we have been busy implementing new features into Monibot. Here are the details.
User Timezones
You can set the timezone that Monibot uses for displaying dates and times. The default timezone is Europe/Berlin, but you can change it to whatever you want. You can find the timezone setting on your account's profile page.
Slack Alerts
Our webhook now sends payloads in a format that slack can understand. The webhook URL is described in the Slack API docs.
Individual Disk Monitoring
For machine monitoring, Monibot now monitors all disks separately.
If you have two or more disks installed, Monibot shows the usage (percentage)
and the disk i/o activity for each disk, so that you can see which disk exactly
is busy or is becoming full.
Please note that for this function, you need to update the
moni command line tool to v0.6.0 or later.
Individual Network Interface Monitoring
Monibot now monitors all network interfaces separately, reporting the i/o activity for each network interface separately. Again, you need to update the moni command line tool to v0.6.0 or later.
